USVI Charter: Jolly Mon

http://www.jollymonstthomas.com/index.htm

Since it appears that there will be something on the order of Too Many cruise ships docked at St. Thomas the day we arrive, our little group has booked a private sail on the Jolly Mon, a 48' Sailling Yawl.

Picture from the www.jollymonstthomas.com website.

Should be a blast!

And a pic of the Freedom:

History: Las Vegas, April 2010

In April, I took Nic to Vegas.  She'd never been, and I'd only been there once before.  It was a 5 star trip for us, for sure!  We stayed at the Wynn, which was awesome.  We say Penn & Teller and Zumanity.  We also won about $700 at the tables.  We'll be going back for sure.

Leaving...

The strip from the air.

First look at our hotel from the ground.

Our room was luxurious!

And roomy!

With a comfy king-sized bed.

And a lovely view.

First night we went to the Palazzo for dinner at Canneletti.  It was very nice!

The Venetian lobby area is very nice!

There were gondola rides and street performers.

The ceiling was painted to look like the sky.

And the facades replicated famous Venetian sites from Italy.

It was very pretty.

Dinner...

...with my pretty wife!

With music.

And a wander around the casino.

And the strip of course.

We spent about an hour and a half enjoying the fountains at Bellagio.

And saw Penn Gillette playing the cello before his show opened.

And had a lovely steak dinner on the 50th floor of the Rio.

With great views of the strip.

Better views after dark.

We helped out the vegas economy.

And played in the sun.

And saw Zumanity at NY, NY.

And wandered around.

And had more pool-time.

And romantic dinners for two.

Until it was time to go home.

Dawn found us in Nassau.

We took a short tour of town, and then went to Atlantis.

There was a Disney ship in port with us.

Arriving at Atlantis.

The lobby aquarium is fantastic!

Manta Ray!

Good old Hard Rock cafe.

A little relaxation before heading back to Destiny.

And some much needed refreshments.
